Millions
of years ago, on a planet known as Cybertron, lived a race of
tentacled beings known as Quintessons. The Quintessons were an
evil and greedy race that produced robots designed to serve nearby
planets for their individual needs. The robots were divided into
two groups, known as 
Consumer Goods (also known
as slaves to some, as they were mainly servants) and Military
Hardware. These highly advanced robots over time developed the
ability to think on their own and even have feelings. It was
now that the robots' oppression by the Quintessons reached the
boiling point and the robots rebeled against their cruel masters.
Several millenia passed, and after the
Quitnessons had been usurped and driven from Cybertron, the robots
were learning to live on their own in peace in harmony. This
was not to last, as the Military Hardware could not resist their
original programming and plotted against the Consumer Goods eventually
attacking them sparking the First Great War. Soon afterwards,
the Military Hardware began calling themselves Decepticons
, and the Consumer Goods retained their slave brand as their
insignia and began calling themselves Autobots. During
the Quintesson reign, both factions had been created with the
unique ability to convert their bodies into a suitable form for
their designated job. When the First Great War began, this forgotten
ability was rediscovered but for another purpose: diguise.
The war raged on for millions of years,
draining their once rich planet of energy. This marked the end
of the first "Golden Age". The Decepticons were following
a new leader, a very powerful robot called Megatron. Megatron
staged many attacks on key energy production or storage reserves
in attempts to gain more energy to fuel his lust for total domination
of Cybertron and the universe. The rebel band of Autobots were
led by a wise robot known as A-3. A-3 was fighting a loosing
battle to the far superior Decepticons because the Autobots were
not originally designed for fighting. Holed up in hideaways,
the Autobots needed someone to rise up and take them to the next
level and defeat the Decepticons once and for all.
As luck would have it, 5 Autobots from
the far future, the Aerialbots : Silverbolt, Slingshot,
Air Raid, Fireflight, and Skydive, would appear (due to a
trick by the future Decepticons in attempt to get rid of them).
The Aerialbots befriended a young robot known as Orion Pax, who
oversaw an energy 
storage
facility with his female companion, Arial and his friend Dion.
In an attack by Megatron and his minions, Orion Pax and Arial
were taken to A-3 by the Aerialbots after being mortally wounded
in the attack. A-3 reconstructed Orion Pax into a robot that
could lead the Autobots into the future with more savvy choices
and hardier construction. This new Orion Pax would be called
Optimus Prime, and Arial was rebuilt into Optimus Prime's
mate, Elita One, leader of a band of female Autobot warriors.
Optimus Prime led the Autobots for millions
of years, pushing the Decepticons to the limit. Unfortunately,
this was not enough and the Autobots paid the price. The Autobots
no longer had the energy to fight the Decepticons and were forced
to take the most drastic of actions: flee Cybertron. Megatron
would not stand for this, and followed the Autobots and Optimus
Prime , attacking them. During the attack, the ships crash landed
on a primative world known as Earth. Both factions were deactivated
in the crash.
Many millions of years later, the volcano
in which the ship carrying the Transformers erupted, causing
the Autobot supercomputer Teletran 1 to awaken. Teletran 1 scans
the area for forms in which the Transformers could take to disguise,
then reactivates the Decepticons mistakenly. Freed from their
millenia old slumber, Megatron and his Decepticons survey the
area for energy exploitation prospects. The Decepticon Air Commander,
and Megatron's pain, Starscream begins firing his weapons at
the Autobot ship in a "Farewell" gesture, Decepticon
style. Unknowingly to the Decepticons this act causes Teletran
1 to reactivate the remaining Autobots as well. Optimus Prime
and Megatron fight for decades to come, with the Autobots defending
not only their home planet of Cybertron, but the planet of Earth
and its inhabitants.
In
the year 2005, the Autobots and Decepticons both are joined by
fellow warriors from across the universe and their homeworld
of Cybertron. Among them are Kup, the ages old warrior with many
tales to tell, Hot Rod, the young cavalier, and Ultra Magnus,
Optimus Prime's friend 
and
respected fellow warrior. Also joining them is the forceful female
Autobot, Arcee. The Decepticons had taken the planet of Cybertron
as their own, leaving the bulk of the Autobot forces on Earth.
In an attempt to finally crush the Autobot opposition once and
for all, Megatron and his Decepticons attack the Autobots on
Earth.
During this great
epic battle, Megatron and Optimus Prime mortally wound each other.
Optimus prime dies, passing on the Matrix
of Leadership, a device that holds the wisdom of the ages of
all the Autobot Leaders past. Ultra Magnus is chosen by Optimus
Prime, but the Matrix had already chosen the next leader...Hot
Rod. Hot Rod would later possess the Matrix, becoming the older,
much wiser Rodimus Prime. Rodimus Prime, however, suffers from
giri, a Japanese word meaning 'the burden hardest to bear'.
He does not wish to be saddled with the burden of leading his
fellow Autobots and the hardships that the rank demands. At one
point, the Matrix of Leadership is stolen from his body by the
Decepticon , Scourge, but this act only makes Hot Rod (Rodimus
Prime) realize that his predacessor Optimus Prime suffered from
the same affliction, but learned to deal with it. He also realizes
that the choice was never his, but is an honor which must be
held with respect...however, due to the Hate Plague infestation,
Autobot command reverts back to Optimus Prime recently returned
from the dead.
The Rebirth of the Transformers soon
came, and Rodimus Prime, now Hot Rod once again, joins Kup, Blurr,
and other Autobots in becoming Targetmasters; beings from the
world Nebulos who agree to undergo "binary bonding",
a proceedure which alters their fleshly bodies into that of a
robotic exosuit capable of becoming the weapon of a particular
Transformer. At the same time, the Headmasters are born, and
in a similar proceedure to the Targetmaster conversion, certain
Nebulans agree to become the heads of certain Transformers,
among which are Brainstorm and Arcee. In a massive battle over
the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber, the Decepticons are defeated
by the Autobots and their new Headmaster stronghold, Fortress
Maximus and are catapolted into space never to be seen again
for years to come. The consequences of their battle once again
revived the Transformers' home planet of Cybertron into its second
golden age, and an age for peace.
BEAST WARS

(Note: some names in Beast
Wars are the same as the ones mentioned in Generation 1 above,
but are not necessarily the same character.)
Megatron along with his team of predacons,
which includs Dinobot, steals the golden disc which speaks of
a planet rich with energon. They then proceed to ship off for
the planet also known as Earth. Being the nearest ship in the
vacinity, Optimus Primal and his crew are ordered to intercept
the predacons. A point of detail here is that supposedly (I forgot
the exacts to this) Prime had also been transporting protoform
X on his ship to a isolated planet. That would explain why a
ship of "scientists" so unexplainably had professional
soldiers aboard. Protoform X had been an attempt on cybertron
to re-create Starscreams "immortal spark". The experiment
failed and Rampage turned out just as evil as Starscream if not
more so. Anywho, back to prime. Prime follows Megatron and happens
to travel back in time with them to ancient Earth. (not that
ancient, the dinos were dead already). The two sahips get into
a fire fight with each other in turn both are severly damaged.
As previously stated, there were alot of 'extra' crewman onboard
Prime ship and they were all shot into earths atmosphere as protoforms,
some being damaged or even worse destroyed. The predacons did
no such thing and just crashed. Once all involved parties had
crashed, they are informed that due to EXTREME levels of energon
(coined by Optimus Primal as too much of a good thing), they
had to obtain best forms or be 'reformated'. In order to change
from beat to robot, they only need say their name then side word
(either Maximize or Terrorize). Even at that though if exposed
in robot mode for prolonged periods of time they will begin to
malfunction. Both side get their new forms, planing begins. Trouble
was brewing with the predacons however in the form of Dinobot.
He believed that he should lead the predacons not to mention
more suited for the job. He follows that by challenging Megatron
to a battle and as a response gets one of Scorponoc missles in
his gut that sends him flying. Not too long after that Dinobot
meets up with the Maximals and challenges Prime to a battle for
leadership. Prime accepts and beats him fairly, even saving his
life. Words are said that result with Dinobot joining the Maximals.
the two side battle for a considerable amount of time, with protoforms
droping from the sky that had both sides dashing after it. Also,
from time to time, tests and challenges appeared from the Vok,
a mysterious race. There were also cameo appearances from Unicron,
the jumbo sized reincarnation and imbodiment of evil. At one
point Earth was to be destroyed by a plant destroyer desguised
as the second moon. Both sides seemed to team up only for the
Predacons to double cross the Maximals and the very double cross
had Prime obliterated by the destroyer. The following destruction
of the destryoer caused a quantum surge that forever changed
the beast wars. Some Predacons are destroyed in the lava surrounding
their base while some on both sides were changed for the better.
Those that changed were dubbed 'Transmetals'. They had the form
of animals but also a third new form that allowed them to resemble
a vehicle. Rhinox, the lead gadget man, quickly thought of an
out of the box way to bring back Prime. Which he did, and as
a transmetal. previously mentioned, their ship had been transporting
protoform x. He crashed in the ocean somewhere in this time and
took the form of a crab. Some point during this time, Dinobot
also dies saving the nativees of the world from a Predacon started
fire. The fact that Rampage was insane didnt stop Megatron from
controling him. In fact, Megatron removed half his spark. By
crushing his half of the spark, Megatron caused Rampage considerable
pain. Megatron spark part became increasingly more important.
It was from that spark that Megatron developed his Transmetal
2 technology. The ark is also discovered around this time. Discovery
of the ark brought about the final advancement of both Megatron
and Optimus. Optimus takes it uon himself to protect the Matrix
from Megatron and puts it inside himself. That causes an amazing
change in him and he become Optimal Optimus. Even after Optimus
returned the Matrix into Prime he retained his new form. Megatron
did much the same thing only with the original Megatrons spark,
but in that process gets pushed into lava and returns in the
form of a dragon. Things heat up and the Nemisis is discovered.
A great battle insues and after Megatrons defeat, he is towed
back to Cybertron with the Maximals. Now enter Beast Machines.
